Thank you so much for the love and care you have in your heart and your offer to help us with our programs to feed and help grade school children.

At present our primary benefactor, RoadTrucker Inc has decided to cut back on their very generous donations, until their new company is completed. As a direct result, we had no choice, but to suspend the feeding program. Thankfully RoadTrucker is still supporting our other programs, so we are still able to help the children with programs, like providing school supplies and helping with school needs for projects.

At this time, we are not accepting gifts, except from RoadTrucker who has sponsored Marissa' Kitchen from 2006. RoadTrucker plans to complete the new building before hiring and paying for the salaries of 1 or 2 team members to run Marissa's Kitchen full time.

There are many ways to help and get involved with Marissa's Kitchen; but, perhaps the most effective and most meaningful is your monetary donation. Everyone, including board members and directors, working at Marissa's Kitchen are volunteers, they do not receive compensation in any way. MK's bylaws do not allow any acceptance of any gifts, no matter how small. This assures you that all donations you give to Marissa's Kitchen go directly to the children.
